Ethereum (ETH)

Ethereum is an open software platform based on blockchain technology that enables developers to build and deploy decentralized applications (dapps). In the Ethereum blockchain, miners work to earn Ether, a type of ERC-20 token that fuels the network. The system also provides its users with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), which essentially serves as a runtime environment for smart contracts based on Ethereum.
