Litecoin (LTC)

Litecoin was an early Bitcoin spinoff, starting in October 2011. Litecoin was released on GitHub by Charlie Lee, a Google employee and former Engineering Director at Coinbase. It is an open source, global payment network that is fully decentralized without any central authorities.
